Westside Travel Medicine and Immunizations, Inc. offers flexible patient scheduling. A physician referral is not needed to make an appointment.

Appointments

Westside Travel Medicine and Immunizations, Inc. (WTMI) offers flexible patient scheduling Monday through Friday (10am – 5:00pm). A physician referral is not necessary to schedule an appointment. We recommend that you make an appointment at least 6-8 weeks before your trip to ensure that there is adequate time for the immunizations to be effective. However, we are available to accommodate “last minute” consultation requests should the need arise. WTMI treats patients 6 years and older. If you are seeking travel medicine services for a child under the age of 6, we will be happy to refer you to a pediatric travel specialist. To make an appointment or for more information, please call WTMI at (310)-315-1855 (office) or by Email at info@westsidetravelmedicine.com.

What To Expect

At the initial visit, your travel itinerary and personal health history will be reviewed. Specific travel-related illnesses and vaccine recommendations will be discussed. Patient education handouts along with Vaccine Information Sheets will be provided and all questions answered prior to vaccine administration. Prescriptions for medications, including malaria pills, oral vaccines, and antibiotics will be written as needed. Post-travel follow-up medical care is also available.

Additional brief office visits may be necessary to complete multi-dose vaccination schedules.
